The 2025 Q1 Blue Wire Excellence Awards are a testament to their great work and include impressive milestones, championship mettle, and doing things bigger than covering games and seasons.

These awards are decided by Blue Wire staff and based on the great work we see posted continually across the network.

Knicks Fan TV is one of Blue Wire’s top regional NBA podcasts, but their award is bigger than basketball. Knicks Fan TV held a live watch party for the Knicks/Lakers game on February 1 in conjunction with a fundraiser they held with the American Red Cross that raised nearly $5,000 for Los Angeles wildfire relief.

Past Excellence Award winners have gotten shouted out for covering a championship but Darius Slay went above and beyond this year by both providing amazing insight on the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl run and by actually playing for the winning team!
