Blue Wire Founder and CEO Kevin Jones addressed NFL players in Washington, D.C. about the future of sports media as part of The Summit, an event hosted by the NFL Players Association in February. Fellow speakers on the panel with Jones included Domonique Foxworth, Colts linebacker/podcaster Zaire Franklin and Brandon Chubb.

“More NFL player podcasters are coming to the space,” Jones said. “The consumption landscape is being shifted by the success of Chris Long, Cam Newton, Darius Slay, Jason & Travis Kelce, Will Compton, The St. Brown brothers and others. Podcasting and YouTube will continue to disrupt how, when and WHO people are choosing.”
