Stephen A. Smith and Mike Tyson joined the long list of celebrity podcasters recording episodes at Blue Wire Studios at Wynn Las Vegas this summer, following a packed slate during NBA Summer League that included All The Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Paul Pierce and Rachel Nichols with Showtime Basketball, Gilbert Arenas bringing in Zion Williamson for an exclusive interview on Gil’s Arena, and more.
“It was a pleasure welcoming Stephen A. Smith and Mike Tyson and their teams into the Blue Wire Studios at Wynn Las Vegas,” Jeremiah Crowe, Blue Wire Studios Director of Operations, said. “Those broadcasts reinforced why they are some of the biggest sports personalities on the planet. The resort was packed to capacity over a huge fight weekend, and the Wynn’s patrons really enjoyed watching their shows. These are the latest examples of why our Blue Wire Studios are a destination for any content creators looking to make a splash while traveling through Las Vegas.”
Stephen A. Smith covered everything from aliens to rebuking Paul George in Blue Wire Studios @ Wynn Las Vegas when he recorded The Stephen A. Smith Show, a Malka Media production, on July 28 ahead of the welterweight bout between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr in Vegas the next day.
Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson featured Tyson interviewing both Crawford and Spence Jr in separate episodes recorded in Blue Wire Studios, with the two timely interviews combining for more than 1.4 million views on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson YouTube channel in less than two weeks.
Blue Wire Studios continues to welcome in creators from fellow publishers following Showtime Sports, The Volume, and others recording in the Wynn Las Vegas during NBA Summer League. Further coverage on the NBA Summer League slate can be found in Awful Announcing.
