Blue Wire

January 8, 2026

Blue Wire podcasters closed out 2025 on a strong note, achieving significant milestones and utilizing their engaged communities for good. We’re proud to spotlight five deserving creators here, but know that every podcaster within the Blue Wire network accomplished extraordinary things in 2025 and is already building on those accomplishments to kick off 2026.

Michael Irvin is blazing his own trail in the media and sports marketing world. Irvin continues to grow his engaging YouTube channel and also was selected to participate in Netflix’s Christmas Day NFL coverage. Irvin is also a staple on the sidelines of the Miami Hurricanes as a legendary alumnus, as he blends his interests and media acumen across platforms and playing fields.

Knicks Fan TV pulled a Jalen Brunson and beat the buzzer in 2025, reaching 100,000 subscribers onYouTube with just a few days left in the year. Providing some of the best Knicks coverage through genuine reactions and well-placed guest spots, Knicks Fan TV is a must-follow across platforms for all basketball fans interested in the Knicks’ title chase.

Denise Salcedo, host of the Instinct Culture podcast, posted dozens of entertaining episodes covering the biggest stories in wrestling throughout the year. This spotlight, however, is for being invited to teach a content creation class at the University of California Riverside Palm Desert in October. It’s great to see a successful podcaster like Denise take the time to pass on the lessons she’s learned to the next generation of content creators.

The Sox Machine podcast has fostered a real community within their listener base, including organizing road trips to opposing team’s ballparks during the season. Last fall, Sox Machine used that community for good. Sox Machine partnered with other White Sox creators to raise money for the South Side Food Drive, ultimately smashing their original goal of $2,500 and collecting $21,620. That money will provide more than 60,000 meals for those on the south side of Chicago, which is a huge accomplishment for Sox Machine and the other White Sox creators to make happen just in time for the holidays.

Brett Kollmann, host of the Bootleg Football podcast alongside E.J. Snyder, was named one of the top sports influencers and content creators of 2025 by Awful Announcing. In addition to Kollmann’s strong work covering the NFL through Bootleg Football, he was credited with the work he does on his personal YouTube channel and Twitter account for his football film breakdowns, media commentary, and more.
