SAN FRANCISCO —The explosive Houston Texans now have a voice on the Blue Wire Network. Aaron Wilson and Matt Hammond have come together for a new podcast entitled the H-Town Huddle. Wilson is a veteran beat writer entering his fifth year covering the Texans for the Houston Chronicle. Hammond is a former radio veteran now making captivating sports content on Twitter and Periscope. The two bring years of experience in writing and radio to the first time podcast venture.
“I’m very excited to branch out and have the opportunity to weigh in with my opinions and analysis about the Texans in a different media format,” said Wilson. “I have covered the NFL since 1997 and have previously covered the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens.”
The H-Town Huddle is the 34th podcast to join the network and the first AFC South team on the roster. Texans fans can expect an honest, analytical, informed and fun take on their favorite team.
On the debut episode of the podcast Wilson and Hammond discuss the current state of the Texans after the draft. They also discuss why the organization did not address their needs at offensive line and take a look at predictions for the forthcoming season.
